Join our journey through time and enjoy the history of pre-hispanic, colonial and modern Lima. Visit Lima´s oldest resorts, its valleys, pre-hispanic temples and its grand Main Square. View its colonial architecture and recreational spaces, hear about their religious beliefs and the unique names of its streets, and enjoy the evolution, modernization and the lifestyles of its most picturesque characters. After the tour in Lima, we will then head towards the district of Pueblo Libre and visit the Larco Museum considered one of the best museums in Latin America.
We will start our colonial and contemporary Lima City Tour with a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
Modern Lima
This tour will take you through the modern districts of Miraflores and San Isidro. On the way there you will see the Huaca Pucllana, a pyramid shape pre-Inca ceremonial temple that has survived Lima’s massive urban growth.
Colonial Lima
You will then visit the Historic Center of Lima, designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. On this tour we will discover a city that was once the center of the Sixteenth Century Spanish Colony.
Larco Museum
We will then head towards the district of Pueblo Libre and visit the Larco Museum. This museum features the best and most complete pre-Hispanic gold and silver collection in the world. It is also well-known because of its erotic ceramics exhibits as well as its vast storage galleries.
At the end of the tour you will have a choice to either shop at the Indian Market, Larcomar Mall or return to your hotel.
